General

With Numiato we have developed a simple concept that allows you to distribute the right software or settings to the desired devices with just a few clicks.

In Numiato there are 6 object types:

• Categories: Categories define the device type (e.g. teacher device, student device).
• Rooms: With rooms you can assign devices to a physical location (e.g. all devices in the IT room).
• Devices: Each device can be assigned to a category and a room.
• Applications: Applications can be installed or uninstalled on individual devices, categories, or rooms.
• Policies: Policies are device settings that can be applied to a room or a category (e.g. changing the desktop background in the IT room).
• Printers: Printers can be assigned to specific rooms or categories.

Order

1. Create categories and rooms
2. Assign applications to devices, categories, or rooms, and policies to categories/rooms
3. Assign devices to categories and rooms
