New Features

Responsive Design

  • The Numiato portal is now fully optimized for mobile devices, tablets, and smaller screens. The user interface automatically adapts to the respective screen size.

Integrations

  • Under Settings > Integrations you can view the current status of your Apple School Manager connection and trigger a manual synchronization.
  • A preview of the upcoming Veyon integration is already available.

Setup Wizard

  • A new onboarding wizard guides new customers step by step through the initial configuration of Numiato.

Improvements

Login

  • The login page has been visually revised and offers a more modern appearance.

Status & History

  • Execution entries are now loaded via infinite scrolling instead of displaying all entries at once. This significantly improves load times for extensive history lists.

  • Unregistered devices can already be assigned to a room before first commissioning. Policies and configurations take effect immediately after registration.

  • The application management has been completely redesigned. Applications can now be filtered and sorted. Details and management options are clearly summarized in a new sidebar.

Group Management

  • Categories and rooms are now displayed in a modern card view, providing a faster overview and simplifying management.

Extended Wi-Fi Policies

  • Multiple Wi-Fi profiles can now be configured simultaneously and deployed to macOS and iPad devices.
  • WPA3 is now supported as a security protocol for Wi-Fi policies.

:simple-microsoftedge: Microsoft Edge Extensions

  • Browser extensions for Microsoft Edge can now be managed and deployed for Windows devices via a policy.

Wallpaper Policy

  • A uniform wallpaper can now be deployed to all managed devices via policy.

macOS Management

  • You can now fully manage macOS devices with Numiato.
  • All device management actions – sync, restart, rename, and reset – are now also available for Mac devices.
  • macOS devices are supported in policy management. School-optimized policies can be applied directly to Mac devices.
  • Applications from the App Store can be installed and managed on macOS devices.

  • Printers can now be managed on Windows devices.

Improvements

New Device Categories for Shared Devices

  • We are adding three new device categories. These are intended for devices used by multiple users:

    • Student (Shared Devices)
    • Teacher (Shared Devices)
    • Administration (Shared Devices)

Warning

We will remove the "Shared Devices" category in the future. Please reassign your devices to the new categories.

New Permission Role "Device Manager"

  • The Device Manager role has been added. This role allows managing devices, but not adding software or policies.

  • We have implemented a permission concept in Numiato. It is now possible to assign permissions and roles in Numiato to individuals.

Emergency Access
